Italian M1 Garand Bayonet. Converted from US Issue M1 Bayonets for an Argentine contract that utilized a muzzle brake in place of the gas cylinder lock. Later used on BM-59 rifles with the second pattern Tri-Compensator and the Commercial BM 69 rifles imported by Benet Arms in the late 60's. Now the cool part, this bayonet also fits the M1C and M1D Garand Sniper rifles when fitted with the T37 5-prong flash hiders. Prior to the introdcution of this bayonet, it was not possible to fit a bayonet onto a T-37 equipped M1C or M1D sniper Rifle. Overall in VG condition with matching numbers on bayonet and scabbard.
