M16A1 clone rifle. Assembled on a Superior Arms lower, it has a USGI Colt M16A1 upper and the correct matching A1 buttstock with trapdoor and pistol grip. Semi-Auto lower internals. Colt AR-15 marked 20-rd magazine and USGI M1 sling. Pleasant rifle to shoot with minimal recoil and surprisingly good accuracy.

Early Springfield Armory M1A Rifle. 

Overall in VG conditon. According to published information, this is a 1983 produced rifle. Looks to be all USGI parts (both M1 and M14). The barrel is unmarked (or at least I cannot find a marking on it). Magazine is a SA-Inc 20-rd commercial mag. The gap over the stock porch is a hallmark of the M1A in this serial block. It can be corrected with minor inletting on the stock by the selector cut or left as-is. On a collectible early M1A like this, I would leave as-is if keeping it in my collection.

Barrel has no makers markings. Lightly stamped Geneseo, Ill on the underside between the gas cylinder and the bayonet lug. Bore is good, dirty in the grooves, but according to the original owner round count is roughly 500 and last fired about 17 years ago.
